Thanks for taking the time to visit! Read what is happening at Biblical Families in our latest newsletter.
Think Biblical, Christ-centered plural marriage isn't a 'thing'? Think again. Well over 1,000 folks have signed up have signed up to discuss just that, and many are living it. See what that have to say:
Your journey here is likely as unique as every other person that has visited, but with one of two common themes. You have either come into the knowledge of God’s approval of plural marriage (polygamy, polygny – the Bible simply calls it “marriage”), or you are interested in learning more. No matter what brings you our way, WELCOME!
Biblical Families is a ministry run by a group of Bible-focused, Christ-centered, Spirit-filled Christian believers desiring to support, defend, and encourage Biblical-based marriages, including those with more than one wife. It is our hope that you will find this site a place to renew your strength, get practical advice and counsel, and be encouraged to press on toward the goal of serving God as you have been called.
There is quite a bit of information available to you as you seek to learn more about Biblical Families. We encourage you to check out our Resources page. Whether you enjoy interaction with others, or just want to see what God has said to them about Families, we encourage you to check out our Discussion Boards. Here you will meet others just like you. No matter what your question, someone has probably already asked it!
Biblical Families has also established a presence elsewhere on the web, like FaceBook.
Biblical Families is dedicated to encouraging and strengthening Biblical marriages, including, but certainly not limited to, plural marriage. We see plural marriage as good, and caring, option for believers - insuring that no one need be left without a family. Please note that we recognize it as an option, not as a requirement, and fully expect that most believers will never be called to participate in it - but that doesn't mean they shouldn't support those Christians who are part of such a family.
Biblical Families places a strong emphasis on fellowship and supporting each other, as per the New Testament, and therefore organizes national retreats, and regional meetings.
