Doctrine: God Created Mankind with Order and Purpose
God created the universe from nothing. He simply spoke and events took place and matter came into existence (Gen. 1:3).In seven days God developed a world in which mankind could live. On day one and four he created light and luminaries. On day two and five he created the sky, water, and then birds and fish. On day three and six he created land and vegetation and then animals and humans (Gen. 1:3-31). The capstone of creation was mankind. He created the man first from the "dust of the ground" and breathed into man to make him a "living creature" (Gen. 2:7) and then created the woman as man's "helper" (Gen. 2:18). Adam and Even were united and became one flesh (a relationship), which means they became related to each other. Adam, the first man, and Eve, the first woman, were to collectively "have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth." They were to "be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it" (2:28).

Life Application
Many people live a dull, boring, unfulfilled, and isolated life. God did not intend for life to be dull or boring. He intended for life to be full of purpose. God created mankind to work in harmony with him as they seek to govern their sphere of the world in which they live. The design of creation of both the world and mankind shows us that God is a being of order. He crafted the world and man and woman in an orderly fashion. Therefore, we as humans are to find ways in which we can engage the world in which we live and seek to bring that sphere into an orderly system. We are to establish and set order in our physical family, we are to have order in the spiritual family, and we are to have order in the social realm. This requires work and labor as we infilitrate the world in which God created and over the sphere he places us we are to work in that area to make that area of life an orderly area of life.
