What a lovely post Poddles, thank you so much for sharing. I truly hope I am as grown up as you ladies are if the Lord decides to add to our family. :D:p I wish you blessings! Looking forward to meeting her soon. Love to you.

Wonderful news. I look forward to meeting your new family member. The three of you I've already met are truly inspirational, so I assume that will just multiply!

Congratulations all!! Look forward seeing you all again.

I am real and my family too. We are living a fantastic and, often, overwhelming lifestyle. We have wonderful, challenging experiences to share. Living this lifestyle will help you grow in ways you can not fathom now. With help from the Lord, you can enjoy the ups and downs in life with humor and love.
Just think, what a marvelous adventure to be lived by you and your spouse as one wife joins the family, and then, another wife joins (12 yrs later) the family. Now we are 4 to rise to the challenge of knitting a family together under the guidance of Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
Only God could have given Ron this dream and helped him bring it to fruition.
Keep God in charge and watch Him give grace and love and all the spiritual gifts to each of us as we need them. What a rollercoaster of life!

When considering a third wife, you must seriously consider the dynamics of the home, especially with the other wives. Is it a home with peace and affection between the wives? Is she compatible, within the age group of the other wives, love the Lord, love you, and gentle of spirit. Are the other wives on board with this?
As for us: We returned from a get together with friends who believe in this lifestyle, when Ron spoke to us about a third wife. Jan has always wanted a third wife, and since Ron's health seem to be well enough to offer a wife a good life, he broached the subject. I was taken aback because he had always said no way. Both Jan and I asked if he had someone picked out, he did. So then we both asked when could we meet her? He explained that he knew her from years ago, and then they met up in a grocery store and the friendship began again. She was familiar with our lifestyle and open to him when he told her about us. Ron had been impressed by the Lord to do this thing. We opened our home to her in our guest room as that would give us all time to consider this step. Ron waited to ask her to marry him until he could see if we all got along. We did and so he did. There were no relations until vows were exchanged. We had a lovely ceremony, just the 4 of us.
She is wonderful, spirit filled, willing to pitch in doing whatever we needed, funny, and down-to-earth. Our roles are changing, and we are working out the challenges of day-to-day life. She is a great help with Ron, as nightly his legs and back need to be massaged because of the pain he has which is quite excruciating.
In the future, all of our lives will change. Hopefully, we will continue in harmony, handling challenges together. We are not foolishly expecting all will be grand, working together all the time. Instead, we actually expect discord and fights between us, but we stand on the Lord for healing of personal wounds and hearts. And Ron settles any friction, tension, and dissension that we can not solve between us.
Life sure is strange. Never saw this coming. But with God's leading, all will be explained in His time.
such a great post. an example of why this forum is so good. We keep working things out that could be difficult.
