Communication toward husband

Unfortunately, most of this would be shunned in today’s world. As I was reading the list, I was a bit surprised how often I’ve heard the opposite said:

  1. I don’t even know why I married you. You can’t do anything right!
  2. It’s a good thing I’m making the decisions around here or this house would fall apart. Now go start on the list of chores I gave you.
  3. I’m just not happy with our love (sex) life.
  4. Why does [insert any name] have more than us. I want a new car too!
  5. I’m miserable. Things aren’t like they were when we were dating.
  6. I hope our kids don’t grow up to act like you.
  7. I can’t believe you think that will work! You’re so funny with your ideas sometimes.
Of course, you can insert your own words into this. Words are powerful though. Simply saying, “I believe in you.” Goes a long way.
