"Monogomania" is properly called "serial polygamy" for good reason.

(And I can't help but think that some people get far more worked up about their concern for "one wife" than they do for the One God.)

When I talked about poly to my sister, she told me that I was disgusting and that I was settling. She told me that she didn't want her children to be exposed to my lifestyle. She told me that it would be easier for her to accept if I were a lesbian than a polygamist. This came from a woman whose current (2nd) husband left a live in girlfriend for her, after a couple of years of secretly seeing my sister. So what did I do that was so wrong? The difference seems to be in the fact that in my case my sister/wife was acknowledged, respected and included in the decisions. I wonder if she would like her children exposed to their history.
