I did not read this book, but heard about it from a former co-worker who thought it was the great. Won't say much to begin with, but I will share link to an article...

I think they mean the pleating, and the slightly different shade showing in the pleat. I also think that whoever tried to make a statement succeeded far better in their own mind then in real life. It really isn't saying much.....if no one is aware of it.

It may as well be some obscure cloud image. Totally debatable what it looks like.
