Typically Hebrews 11 is touted as the hall of faith fame, certainly it is. Do we neglect the following chapter, 12? Specifically what is the connection between Hebrews 12:16-17 and the Genesis account of Esau & Jacob. Their polygyny is in full display in Genesis. Would love to hear your thoughts!
 
Here Esau is said to be "profane", not "sexually immoral". I don't see any link between this and his polygyny.

In general, Hebrews 11 gives us the historical examples, Hebrews 12 then outlines how we should apply these in our own lives.
 
Problem with Esau was the kind of women who chose not the number ...
