Here are some temporary guidelines for conversations on the forum while we solidify some more permanent changes:
-Hencefortth the terms “whore church” and “whore synagogue” are banned. Posts containing these phrases are grounds for the post to be deleted.
-There can be no criticism of any movement that can agree to the statement of faith posted on the website.
-Excessively sneering or vitriolic posts will be deleted. If you can’t say something nice then don’t say anything at all.
-There has been a long-standing but unenforced rule against promoting one’s own outside projects. That rule will now be rigorously enforced EXCEPT for posts from @PeteR . His outside projects will be promoted due to his relationship to the forum and the unique symmetry of his ministry with that of Biblical Families.
-Theological threads NOT dealing with marriage and family will be heavily scrutinized and are subject to all the tools of moderation.
These rules are subject to modification and will be supplanted soon with a more comprehensive set of rules designed to foster community, encourage the believer and spread sound doctrine and teaching around the issues we care about as a ministry.
