Most who follow this forum with be aware that there is a difference between "sacrifices" (Hebrew 'tzebach') and "offerings" ('korbon'), and that Shaul/Paul (see Acts chapter 21) did not claim that "there remains no more sacrifice for sins" quite the way Hebrews chapter 10 is usually taught in 'sun-day school.'
But given the deliberate, and almost complete, destruction of much of western civilization, and certainly the "Rule of Law" - as we've seen emphasized again just this past week in the united States - it's vital those who seek to be "called by His Name," understand, and be able to "give account" for the hope that we have, and 'boldly', too.
This midrash is all about "discernment."
"For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins..."
...but something else entirely. Can we explain why, in context? (Hebrews 10:26...)
