Biblical Families

Building the Church through Building the Family

Thanks for taking the time to visit Biblical Families.

Your journey here is likely as unique as every other person that has visited, but with one of two common themes. You have either come into the knowledge of God’s approval of plural marriage (polygamy, polygny – the Bible simply calls it “marriage”), or you are interested in learning more.  No matter what brings you our way, WELCOME!

Biblical Families is a ministry run by a group of Bible-focused, Christ-centered, Spirit-filled Christian believers desiring to support, defend, and encourage Biblical-based marriages, including those with more than one wife. It is our hope that you will find this site a place to renew your strength, get practical advice and counsel, and be encouraged to press on toward the goal of serving God as you have been called.

Biblical Families has also established a presence elsewhere on the web, on FaceBook, MySpace, and Twitter.

Biblical Families is dedicated to encouraging Biblical marriages by providing principles for healthy, long lasting relationships, and presenting Christian plural marriage as a good and caring option for believers. Please note that we recognize it as an option, not as a requirement, and fully expect that most believers will never be called to participate in it - but that doesn't mean they shouldn't support those Christians who are part of such a family.
