Uhm. Could be. But what accounts for the swarthy members of Wales and Cornwall? Lost tribes? I’m thinking Tom Jones the singer and Cary Grant the actor.

Very probable that lost tribes could be involved.
Remember that some of the tribes were from the servant wives. Why would they have had the same skin pigmentation as Rachel and Leah?
I think that Yah’s great joke is that there were actually black tribes.
Remember how Moses was instructed to set up the camp with each tribe assigned its own location. And they settled by tribe as the promised land was conquered. It wasn’t a homogeneous group.
