Books Supporting Plural Marriage

We have read quite a few posts bemoaning the lack of supportive books for plural marriage.

Yet, this board is full of excellent resources, excellent research and people dedicated and committed to helping others find success in plural marriage.

Is anyone here working on a book?

Are any people here collaborating on a book?

Even if it's not going to be published by a major book seller, or carried in book stores, writing a book and publishing in PDF form and giving away is an amazing ministry--and we're amazed to discover no one has done that!
 
Yes; I'm working on one (not exclusively on polygyny, but it will be a significant aspect). Jay C, who participates here frequently, has a book already up in the resources/links area as well.
 
There are a few books in the works here, but it will be a season before they are published.

The Lord has called me to write books specifically about polygyny. Not for the purposes of proving that it is right and not wrong. But for the purposes of helping and supporting Christians who are already living it or feel called to live it. I am studying family and marriage therapy and would like to open a private practice/ministry to counsel and minister to the needs of all types of families; monogamous and polygynous. My books are currently in the works and I feel that the Lord will bring me through many life experiences until the 1st one is complete enough to be published. The other thing I am toiling over is whether or not I should use a pen name. There are many people in my life right now who will give my family and I a very hard time if we are open about our beliefs.

I think it's a good idea to use a nomme-de-plume. Protect your identity. Protect your potential professional life.

But, I encourage your writing and would offer to help in any way that I can. :)

Hey Thanks so much Ben! I've never written or published a book before. So I will probably need all the help I can get when I really start rolling through the whole process of getting the manuscript edited and then eventually turned into a book.
 
Bex is an *amazing* editor.

I could help with the writing, if need be.
