Cecil is in the hospital tonight

I left Cecil in the hospital about an hour ago and he is being kept overnight. He has been very sick to his stomach and seems to have a new infection in his left foot. I will have more information in the morning to share. Please remember him in your prayers tonight.
 
Oh no, please tell him that I am thinking of him and hope he gets better soon.

Just returned from seeing Cecil. For now he is resting more comfortably, but the issues have not been resolved. They are pouring fluids into his arm, together with IV antibotics and a bit of pain meds to ease the tummy. More cultures have been taken on his left foot and new x-rays. Perhaps later this afternoon some answers will follow. Please continue to hold him in your prayers. I will post news as it becomes available.

Cecil is feeling much better tonight. Bets are that he will come back home with us tomorrow. He is eating solid meals without nausea, and asking for pizza. His left foot is in fresh bandages, his antibotics are oral now and the nurses are coming in now to enjoy his company rather than provide critical care. Thank God for his great progress.

Cecil was released from the hospital Friday evening. His foot is doing much better and he felt well enough to attend chuch today. He will need to continue to rest up some and nurse that foot, but otherwise he said he is feeling great.

Glad you're out and doing better. I'm sure the Candy Stripers are cute and all, but it can't be worth it. ;)
