Hi everyone!

I would like to move the Ladies Chat time to another day. Monday is not working out for me that well. I was hoping to move it to Tuesday unless the group says some other day is better. Please let me know if Tuesday or some other day works for you. The time at 7:30pm EST is still good for me but we can adjust that too if enough ladies agree. So, please let me know what you think.

Thanks,
Julieb

Hey there Ms.Julie!

As always it's good to see you post here. :) I also like your idea of moving the chat night to Tuesdays, thanks for the good idea. Btw what are the chat sessions about as of late? I haven't been able to join for a while myself. Is there a new topic/study being discussed, or is it pretty much open dialogue for the time being? I hope that it's okay to repeat my request of the possibility of the Titus 2 study that I posted on here recently. I did notice that quite a few ladies read it, but have only had 2 responses so far. Do you think this study would be too intense or too over done possibly? Still just looking for some feedback, shared thoughts/ideas & insights on the matter. Thanks much Michelle and Fairlight for responding. :) I too think this would be a worthwhile study, as having a Titus 2 heart, mind set and life style is such a strong/Godly & healthy foundation to aspire too, weather in a mono or plural marriage. Thanks again Julie for the good suggestion of changing the chat nights to Tuesdays. Thanks also for considering the possibility of a Titus 2 study for the chat night. Take care Julie, continuing on the path Yashua has placed your family on. Seeking His will, and finding His Wisdom, Strength & joy for the journey! :) As time permits, I do look forward to hearing back from you.

Warm Wishes,
F.S.

Okay, everyone, since no one objected I would like to move the Ladies Chat night to Tuesdays at 7:30pm EST. Of course, as always any one can use the chat room at anytime but Tuesday night will be the "official" time slot. I understand that lots of things are going on in the summer but I hope everyone will try and make the chat room at least once a month. I think it is a great time of fellowship with like minded women.

Faithful Servant, the chat room never did work out to discuss the last book study. It has mainly been a time to see what others are doing in their lives and hearing what is on their hearts each week. As for the Titus 2 study I am afraid I will have to leave that up to you to start for now. Feel free to start a new thread regarding Titus 2 and those who can do the study with you can join in. You can set it up however you like!

I hope all of you are having a good summer and making time to do lots of fun things!

Julieb

Greetings Julie,

As always, it's good to hear from ya. Thanks for taking the time to connect with me regarding the topic of a possible Titus 2 study. I was thinking it may or may not be a good study for us here. As there are many factors to consider of course. And yes, I do agree that the other book study we did wasn't easy to follow up with in an on-line forum. We did however make an effort, but you're right that it really didn't go anywhere. As we all know on line studies just don't have the same availability for one on one encouragement, the laying on of hands during prayer time, or the face to face fellowship.

On line chat rooms do have their place in the area of encouragement, but in more of a limited capacity. The ability to have live chats with our Sisters in Christ is a blessing, as it seems to be easier to be kept at " a simpler fellowship level." As I shared with you in a pm today, my reason for suggesting a Titus 2 study was b/c of the wonderful interest in it, in a topical discussion here on the forums that I think Beta may have started. I was just throwing the idea out there to see what others thoughts or ideas were on the topic. As I also mentioned, this type of study may be too in depth for an on line study. But hey, at the very least we can pray for one another to have a desire to study these timeless truths for ourselves, and apply them to our own marriages. To also pray and seek God's will to see if maybe He would have any of us start a study of this topic with our own circle of friends in our community, churches/home churches, home school groups, etc. ;) And of course, if we do feel led to step out in faith in such an area, to not do so without or dh's approval and blessing! Take care all and Keep on Keeping on with Yeshua, family & friends.

Warm Wishes,
F.S. :)

I PRAY THAT I BE NOT A HINDRANCE!
