I would like to ask one and all to please pray for my wife, Chaplains Rose, and her extended family. Her uncle, the husband of her dad's sister, shot himself yesterday afternoon. I am out here at work and am unable to go home to be with her. The funeral will be tomorrow.

You have our condolences.

I can closely relate to your circumstances as my first wife lost a brother in this way after our first date. It was at his funeral that I met her family for the first time.

You, your family, and your extended family are in our prayers.
 
So sorry Troy, this must be hard on her. We'll be lifting her and family up here, tomorrow, and in the coming days.

First of all thanks to my sweetie, even though he was not here physically for me still has taken care of me and posting the prayer for my family. Thanks also to steve, nathan, lissa, scarecrow, michelle for the prayers offered and for anyone else who has been praying for the last few days. It was totally unexpected and very upsetting but with the prayers of my friends here on BF and other friends elsewhere, the past several days have been easier to get through. Thanks again!!
