Ephesians 6:12

Why Biblical truth is suppressed, and will remain suppressed until the greater exodus:

Ephesians 6:12 Geneva 1599
For we wrestle not against flesh and principalities, against powers, and against the worldly governors, the princes of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness, which are in the high places.

Most modern translations - including the KJV - changed it to “rulers of the darkness” :

Ephesians 6:12 KJV
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Worldly governors are right now causing a lot of problems.

Indeed - they are causing a lot of problems. Spiritually, financially, and physically. They lie to us constantly - from our history - to the vaccines. They poison us. They infiltrate our churches subtly like a crafty serpent.

It’s the central bankers that rule the governments. The rulers in charge are like puppets. They control both sides. People need false hope in men that things are going to get better. And it never does.

Strange.

Rest of verse is on spiritual matters and here we thrown in secular rulers. Don't fit somehow.

The Greek:

Phonetic Spelling: (kos-mok-fat'-ore)
Definition: World ruler, ruler of this world

Cultural and Historical Background: In the Greco-Roman world, the concept of rulers and authorities was well understood, as the society was structured around various levels of governance and power. The term "kosmokratór" would have resonated with early Christians as it depicted the spiritual battle against evil forces that were perceived to have significant influence over the earthly realm. This understanding was crucial for the early church, which often faced persecution and spiritual opposition.
