I was reminded of this song today. I don't think I've shared it on here before. It's going to require a bit of an explanation as it's very Kiwi!

Red nose day is a day where everyone wears red noses and raises money for sick children. It's not really around any more, but it was huge when I was a kid, you could even buy a red nose for your car, and the school bus often had one.
This is the story of a group called Flight of the Concords and how they came to write a song to raise money for children on red nose day. It's very much done in NZ dry humour fashion. You may know Flight of the Concords, they are very popular here, but they also made it into the States and did quite well over there, both as singers and on tv and movies. One of them has been the director for most of the Wellington Paranormal episodes, which I've mentioned on here before.
All of the people singing are NZ singers or TV personalities who were current at the time (this was 10 years ago now).
This song was so popular it was played on the radio as well as on television for ages.
Also, John Key was the Prime Minister at the time, that is slightly relevant to a reference in the song.

So, grab yourself some feta cheese, and watch Feel Inside and Stuff Like That.
