My wife and I have been married over thirty years and my views on PM are not something she likes. I am sure she thinks I will never act on it. Only God knows I suppose. Until now though, I have never talked to anyone who hasn't twisted scripture to discredit PM. This forum is so refreshing. I really love the memes.

Not sure what you mean by situation but I can certainly share more. I am the son of a baptist preacher and I really love to read and the Bible was what I read the most. I loved the stories of all the great men and it fed my imagination. All my favorites had many wives so I never thought of it as wrong until later in my teens. All the arguments against PM never sat well with me but I learned to keep my mouth shut so I wouldn't cause dissension. Now I believe Truth is more important.

As for where are family is now, we have a practically empty nest. Personality wise I am most like Jacob, home oriented, enjoying taking care of the flocks and children. For 25 years I cared for flocks of sheep, goats, chickens and other livestock while working full time in the PC industry and raising six kids. Without the kids help with the animals I couldn't keep doing that so know I spend time researching, studying and looking for ways to influence the next generation. My youngest son at 18 is already a preacher. In fact he was in front of the gates of the Super Bowl stadium today preaching to the crowds as they waited to go in. I keep challenging him to test all he is taught against the whole of scripture and have discussed many church traditions. PM is still on the to do list.

In summary: I have desired PM since I was a teen, wanted a big family, still want more and eager to see what my Lord has in store for me.

Welcome. Even though I have never found another woman to join my family, the understanding of Biblical Marriage and polgamy has been a great blessing to my family, marriage and to my wife. It led to many interesting conversations that led to great personal growth for both of us.

Hopefully this will happen for you and your wife, too. And then maybe God will bless you even more than you expect.
