Hello ladies,
I must be really hard to get through to because this is the second time in a year and a half that God has had to literally scream at me to get me to understand what he wants from me! The first time was when he let me know that I needed to go back to school and get my degree in Christian Studies (I actually chose that degree, but he made it clear that I was to get a degree in something regarding religious studies). Now, he has made it clear that I am to homeschool my three girls. My oldest, Johnathin, is borderline mentally retarded and has asbergers syndrome, so there is no way I can homeschool him and my youngest, Tyler, is only in preschool and I like the school he attends, so I won't start homeschooling him till Kindergarten. But I haven't liked the school that the girls go to since they started there and the other day my seven year old came home and told me that her teacher hit her on the hand with a ruler...that was a wake up call! Since then, homeschooling is all I can think about! I know it is God sitting there saying, "I have been telling you this!" but I am stubborn and I am not sure of my abilities to homeschool, so it scares me. I know we don't have the finances to buy a curriculum so I have been searching the net trying to find all I can that is free. I guess the reason I am writing this is to ask all of you, do you know of any really good science or math websites, games, ect for 1-4 grade? I have found great grammer, english, reading and foreign language sites that are free, but I just can't seem to find what I am looking for in the math/science areas. If anyone has any ideas, I would be extremely grateful! Thank you so much!
