We're new to this forum, have dabbled with the lifestyle, but have met with several catastrophic failures and we're very skittish at this point.

Just saying hello, for now.

Our interest is in a long-term--as in "lifelong"--relationship with the right woman. We want to take things slow, develop a friendship before anything else. Our faith is important to us and we want to do this right, in a way that is pleasing to the Lord.

We'd also like to be able to talk to others and have a community of support because our friends, family and the world in general will never understand.

Welcome... tell us about yourselves. You will find that we are a very diverse group, but have and are learning a great deal about Biblical marriage and standing with each other - even in our failures!

We actually discovered this place through the woman we were interested in asking to join us. She has even posted on the forum back in April. Unfortunately, recent events have transpired that have destroyed our relationship and threaten to destroy our friendship.

We're pretty burned right now. Ben has described himself as the "walking dead" and describes it as a "sucking chest wound where his heart used to be". Bex' trust is completely shattered and the loss of her nearest and dearest friend has put her into a tailspin. Our oldest daughter, who didn't know any of the details, but considered our friend to be her 'big sister' has been so torn apart by the betrayals that she has removed all contact information from her Facebook and phone. Our whole family has suffered from the lies and betrayal.

We don't want to go into any greater detail, but your prayers would be greatly appreciated.

I have often heard it said that the Adversary devotes the most effort to attempting to destroy the things that are the biggest threat to him. Certainly the Bible and the Truth about His character and ordination for marriage is fairly high up that list -- as many here are aware.

You will be in our prayers as well, and

We had our first online members in January, 2008. So we are coming up on our 2nd year for the website.
