Blessings in the name of Yah!

Just wanted to give a shout out to everyone who was so kind and gracious to me at the retreat this past weekend. I truly appreciate all the love and gentleness that was shown to me. I especially appreciate all those who shared their hearts and stories with me personally. I was humbled by their courage and willingness to share with a complete stranger. I went to the retreat expecting to stay in the shadows and avoid sharing any personal feelings or experiences. I even said to TLS that I might need to lock myself in the car if things got too intense. lol :) BUT....the Ruach Hakodesh (aka Holy Spirit) had other ideas and, of course, I obediently responded. The retreat was a mix of emotions for me as I'm about to embark on a new phase of my life. I'm still struggling, but getting better with each passing day. I know that as long as I keep my eyes fixed on Emmanuel, he will provide all that I need to get through the tough times. With HIM, I cannot fail.

Welcome to the forum! I'm so glad you had a great time at the retreat. It seems that most people are hesitant to go at first, then find that they love it.

Thank you, Ginny!! I'm honored to call you my beautiful new friend, too. You have such a sweet and gentle spirit about you. I appreciate all the love and support you showed me during the short visit we had. I'm glad I was able to overcome my fears and let God use the retreat to continue to stretch me in my faith and trust in HIM.
