Hello All

I am new to PM in that I just recently followed a nagging in the spirit that led me to explore its Biblical basis. For years I had wondered why most Christians I know consider it wrong, even sinful, when it was obviously practiced so freely by godly men and women in the Old Testament. Thru His guidance I found New Testament scriptures that also supported the concept. Praise God. I discussed it with my oldest daughter (25) and she said she was glad I'd found the scriptural basis as she'd been wondering since an anthropology course she took in college. BTW, I've read here someone interpreting Isaiah 4 as being a prophesy for the Church. From what I know of exegesis, Isaiah 3 and 4 are addressed specifically to the nation of Israel (Zion). That doesn't say it doesn't have meaning for Christians as well.

Love in Christ to all :D

Welcome to the board Shimon, glad to see you here. As far as exegesis goes you will soon find that not everyone on this site follows the same protocols. lol. Enjoy!
