Hello All, I have read many posts over the last six months or so and finally decided to jump in. I feel as though I can predict many individual's response to various topics but am struck with the wonderful perception of humility by most posters. Thankyou first, to our God for the brainiacs that can put together this forum but then also to the Spirit of Peace that populates the hearts represented. Waaay cool! It has caused me to step back and ponder what's next on His timetable. The step into polygyny may cost dearly so I am a sloth when facing major decisions. I just know that I want to be on the bandwagon when the Holy Spirit is driving the team.
Blessings to this internet home, as I step in......

Welcome Maddog!
It has caused me to step back and ponder what's next on His timetable.
I like the image this conveys. I share the wonder. It's exciting watching God do His work. Thanks for sharing.

Welcome, Maddog! Glad to have you out of the "shadows". :-) I hope you will find friends and wisdom here.

Blessings, Julieb

Thanks to all for the warm reception. I'm new to any type of forum so if I post in the wrong spot please let me know. I enjoy the banter and hope our LDS friends can stick it out a bit. There's much wisdom to glean and a hefty helping of compassion is what I have seen.

Greetings, Maddog!

From which part of the Great NorthWET are you, webfoot?

Born and raised in Seattle, lived in Mexico and Iraq, and now Alabama is home. Welcome to the Bib Fam scene, brah.

Ali T

Thankyou Ali T, Yes we are the people called the webfoot (shshsh dont tell them it's a ruse that way we get it all to ourselves) tribe. Just got out of the mukluks from the snow- you know, the ones made from cedar boughs and salmon skins (we're quite trendy). Just a canoe ride south of Chief Sealth's village on 5 hills, not far from the wolshootseed clan. Just had a pot of cattail soup- just the right cure from medicine man's winter stash. Have a special on whalebone knives, got any beads??

Ahhh,

Subtle you are, oh trendy salmon skinned one! Attended I did Chief Sealth's secondary school and lived/ played I did near the site of the great, green foaming canoe that is large enough to swallow, (and then emit unharmed,) horseless carriages on the other end of the Island of V, whose stop has "worth" if you value the "south" on the way to the resting place of the Mighty Mo.

Lived many moons 7 minutes from the marina before going to the field of mission in Mexico, and now truly live in the South, which has great worth.

(We'll proly meet someday and find out we used to hang near the original OUTSIDE Starbuck's cart, either that, Sea Tac mall or Ivar's.)

Shalom,
Ali T

Unfamiliar with great canoe but have met the troll by the canal. I know fashion as in big V and the beloved faries that help us traverse the icey depths. We have a newborn farie that lists a bit to the left but flies well apparently. Did you know Mo dont live there no mo'? King Kameamea of Land of too many vowels stole her a few moons back. A crime really. Will send other important news via smoke and spiders latah. Keep Clam. Maddog grrrr

Great Canoe as in Washington State Ferry System, Fauntleroy, to be exact. Sorry to hear that Mo is no mo. V as in Vashon, a straight shot, and I am going to have to think for a bit on the "troll."

Shalom,
Ali

Ug, I should have thought of that- that's what I refer to Farie as instead of Ferry. The Troll is simply that- a giant sculpture of a troll under the Freemont bridge on the Ship canal. Kinda funny actually. Hawaii got the mighty Mo a few years ago for a museum for Pearl Harbor. I thought we were doing just fine taking care of it in Bremerton. Oh well, politics is politics. Our newest ferry really does list to port until it's loaded then apparently straightens out. Only 80 million for a crooked boat- is that poetic justice? Did you know a Boeing airplane will soon be made in South Carolina? Now that's an odd choice.

Boy, howdy re: the Carolina plane!

My dad worked for Boeing, and we live near Huntsville, AL, (where there's lots of Boeing,)'cept we are known as Rocket City rather than the Emerald City.

I've been gone from Sea since '98, and I don't think the troll was living under Fremont then. Sorry to hear about the listing canoe. Is it a super-faerie? Does it dock at Colman?

When I was a kid, we'd get on at Fauntleroy with our bikes for a quarter, spend all day at Vashon, and come back. Man, those were the days. grew up three blocks south of Fauntleroy and lived most of my life in Des Moines.

You?

Most of my time has been spent in So king Cty. A bit of time spent away for college but like a bad penny I returned. Did a bit o time as a pastor and employee at B's giant kite factory. me thinks the troll has been there for loooong time. Not sure if its a superfarie though. Been a while since I have traversed great waters. Why did you leave?

We went to Mexico to start a school at an orphanage. Alabama and Baghdad came after.

ali,
the troll most certainly was there :D

Thanks Steve, I'll have to go by and see if there is a date on him maybe even capture a pic. Ali how is the orphanage doing?
Maddog
