Hello,
I have an amazingly, wonderful husband of over 15 years and two children who are just about grown. My husband and I have only recently begun discussing more about biblical truths related to topics on this forum. After spending time in Scripture and reading different sources online, it was something I brought to my husband for his thoughts and insight. It put many pieces together for us. We are in a CA farm town community with a bit of city feel where everyone knows everyone; which has both its charm and challenges that come with that. I enjoy being near the beach and when we lived in CO was something I discovered I missed dearly. I came upon a great blog seeking recommendation where I can find support from like minded women in this chapter of our marriage and was led to this forum. There are plenty of solid threads here I’ve read and contemplated on already. My heart is in a place to learn and grow whether another is added down the road or not. Though, I will be more of a quiet observer than an active participant, I’m looking forward to easing into fellowship with the ladies here.

Shalom and welcome!

What an articulate, peaceful, engaging and edifying introduction, @primrose. Welcome to both you and your husband. Please feel free to stay in the background as long as you need to become comfortable, but I look forward to your further contributions.

Welcome, welcome, welcome!

Welcome!

Welcome! Looking forward to getting to know you and your husband better.

Welcome Primrose!

What town in California do you live in? I grew up on Corona (near LA) and Sacramento and lived near Roseville for a couple years too. One of my husband's daughters is married and lives in Lodi and works at a winery.

northern CA; for privacy reasons I don’t share much on things public but I’m at home sick today from work so do plan on making the ladies chat tonight and connecting with the ladies more :) I’m slightly familiar with SoCal and during one of our trips, we visited the beach in Corona Del Mar- not sure if it’s the same town as Corona? My husband has a friend in Sacramento but we’ve really only driven through on the way to the mountains. Lodi, I know of it but never been.

We lived in the other Corona, not the nice one near the beach! :p

Just saying but there are a few small Christian poly groups in Redding and Red Bluff. ;)

haha so I guess there is a difference in the two names of Corona; good to know. Those cities are a bit far from me but thank you. Considering we know zero Christian poly groups, I appreciate you sharing! It’s good to know there’s a community out here

Welcome! I was a longtime lurker on this site for years before I ever said anything. Lol

I, myself also grew up in Northern CA. Small country town between Eureka and Redding. :)

My husband and sister wives grew up in CA as well and we all recently moved to SD few months ago. :)

I hope this site will be able to provide you with good information and help. :) It helped me a lot and still does.

Thank you! I’m sure there’s a lot of beauty in SD and yes, I’m finding helpful information on here.

Shalom and Welcome.
