Hey, Pinkpixies!!!
It's so nice to have you here! I hope you find the fellowship that you are looking for.
Our family lives in Georgia. I am married to Paul Not The Apostle and we have 5 children, whom we homeschool.
Well, enough about us. Hopefully we will get to know you better soon and maybe even get to meet you at a retreat!

Welcome! Great to have you! I am 27 years old and have been married for 9 years. We have 7 children (so far). We have actually been a plural family for a year, now. We live in TX. Can't wait to meet you at a retreat!

Hey,
Thought I'd add a delayed welcome from Colorado.
I actually do have some questions for you, but will send you a private message once I formulate them.

See you on the forums,

Hello Pink,

Welcome to the forum.

Are you Mormon? You mention in another thread about growing up on a compound. Was that like an FLDS compound? If so, do you feel that media portrayals have been unfair? How did you end up in New York City?

Chris

P.S. I am a little gunshy lately. I am just trying to make conversation. If I have crossed some sort of personal boundry please ignore.

I am not mormon, i am christian. my dad grew up in a compound, not me. he doesn't talk about it but i do know that much. from what he says its all true but that is just him. i don't know anyone else that has grown up there.
i ended up in nyc because i wanted to explore life a little and places before i settled down and got married and had kids. really, its not all its cracked up to be.
nice to meet you and thank you everyone for the warm welcome.

Welcome. I love to see this community growing and especially on a second generation basis.

Welcome, I love your screen name. I have some questions that I will pm you about if you don't mind. My concern about plural marriage and how it could affect our daughter is on my mind. She is a year younger than you, so I thought you might have some words of wisdom to share from a young woman point of view.

Blessings,
Michelle
