How is politics not a major category here?

I know most poly families operate on the down low, but how is politics and political change not a subject worthy of its own sub forum?

I was't too discuss voluntaryist thought, and how it's the best way to reach the goal of living free. That is without fear of the state.

We are running out of things to be devisive about so this should help.

@andrew is really into the politics. He is heavily involved in Libertarian efforts around here in Texas.

I believe politics is a worthy pursuit, but I feel personally called to more spiritual, eternal things, things that God is doing and less to the affairs of men. By that I mean that I think what we really need is spiritual revival more than political change. If we do the spiritual revival then the political change will take care of itself. But if we do the political change with no spiritual change than we really have not done much of importance in any eternal sense in my view.

Having said the above, I am not saying politics is not important. I do admire others who want to get into those trenches and fight it out. And I certainly participate, communicate and vote.

My before bed reading lastnight was on a blog that made this point while criticizing Trump's inaugural speech, and promises.

I am not holding my breath either. I just do what I can and leave the rest to God. The good news is that whether the U.S. survives or goes under the spiritual victory is assured. We are more than conquerors. The end has already been written. Now we just need to decide whether we want to be part of the victors or to side with the loosers. Biggest no brainer decision in history!
