Isaiah 4:1, What is Reproach? Headlessness or Childlessness

Headlessness.
 
With a clear view of Is 3, there was a reason she was without a head. She was embracing all the wrong values of an idolatrous society which was shameful to the children of God. Begging to become one of seven women is a sign of repentance. The thrust of this Isaiah 4 is repentance with polygyny as a backdrop. Thus polygyny in scripture is proof of a heart seeking to be righteous before Yah.
