just a question

i received an email telling me i had a pm from someone, when i logged in, there was no pm. i looked in the members list, and the person who sent the supposed message is not even listed in members ....can anyone shed light on this?

I had the same thing happen this morning. But I have no clue what it is.

Possibly there was another scam message sent around some people which was discovered and deleted earlier.

Yes, we had a scammer hit the message system. We caught it, deleted the message, and banned the culprit.

Just so you know, about 99% of attemps to hit our boards are intercepted, but occasionally one sneaks through.
