And yet they will stay in that dysfunctional relationship for many more years. Why would someone stay friends with a person they don't enjoy being around? Most normal folks would not yet we will stay MARRIED to them! Be the kind of person your friends WANT to be with (and your wife too).

Actually the choices you have to stop contact with people you do not relate well with does not apply always to a spouse. Also my mother married my father twice. If she had not I would not be here today.

with the available pool of men nowdays i can understand why 70% of the wives have buyers remorse.

if poly was more accepted not as many women would have to settle for a choice from the pool of single men.
