is going to be visiting the site this week. I am so proud to be affiliated with all of you here at Biblical Families. This friend is a family member that has just recently been introduced to the validity of PM, and is seeking more info, and most importantly the truth. I just had to put up a post because they might not register at first, but please pray because this is a big deal as you all know. Please make them feel welcome, as you did for DeeAnn and myself, and every person that comes here for fellowship and truth. Heart of Gold, Loves the Lord and I love this person like tremendously.

Paul,

You know we have your back! Blessings, Brother.....

Exo 21:10 “If he takes another wife, her food, her covering, and her marriage rights are not to be diminished."

;)

Blessings,

Doc

Dear Close Friend of Paul & DeeAnn's:

Welcome. Glad you're checking us out! Whether you register or not, we're happy to have you here.

For whatever it is worth, as you are getting used to the strangeness of what P&D are telling you, it isn't their own off-the-wall idea. There are others with the same idea right here in their town in NE GA!!! Even more who don't have a particular problem with it, though not interested themselves.

So relax and enjoy. And give us a jingle if you wanna hear someone talk even longer than PAUL!

Let it be known...I am the close friend, lol. :D I'm Paul's sister. Wow, I have a heart of gold and he deeply loves me. Aww. Thanks Paul. Yep just here to ask and find questions. I'm not into polygyny but respect all of you. Sorting it out in my brain. Love you too Paul and Dee Ann!

Glad you made yourself known. You are welcome here whether you believe or not.

Haha, you caught me. I am PROUD to have Stephanie as my sister. We had a great road trip together 2 years ago from Boston to Atlanta and had the BEST time laughing and singing old VBS and sunday school songs. Hilarious. We used to do such crazy funny stuff as kids, and we were so poor. We made everything an adventure. It was great to revisit those times. She would never toot her own horn, so I will. She is a highly accomplished nurse type of person, and a soon to be licensed massage therapist. She also loves the Lord with all her heart, and always puts others ahead of herself. And, she is an amazing aunt to my kids.

On the other hand, she did tell me the other night that I act like a know it all, but my wife agreed so I can't really hold that against her. ;)

Look out, Steph. Looks like your know-it-all brother is leading you into an adventure!

Next time you come visit family in Toccoa, perhaps Paul & DeeAnn will round up some of us PM types, men and women, and let you check out our horns and pointed tails! "Alleged", that is. All in the interests of medical science, of course. *big grin*

Welcome again. Enjoy the adventure.

LOL, thanks guys for the welcome. I'm a "nurse type of person"? Lolol Paul. You are all lovely people, even if we don't agree with everything. The bottom line is God's love for us, our love for Him and others. There are many things to argue about, not just PM, and it's good to remain focused on the most important things. "Bear with one another in love." It's sad to think so many issues cause division when we can't forgive or work through stuff or focus on the most important issues.

Welcome, Steph! You got a pretty fine brother there, although I can't make the claim of having met him (yet) face-to-face, but only by beginning to get a glimpse into his heart for God.

We hope and pray that you will find this site interesting, rewarding, and perhaps even cause for reconsidering a few sacred cows. ;)

Blessings,

Mark

I agree completely. One thing about pm and the reaction of others that is interesting is the way they respond to the topic. If it is fruitless and of no real importance, then why such venom by most when the topic is broached. We are not saying that it is the requirement, or norm for anyone, we just want others to stop persecuting those that choose this form of marriage. It is like the tattoo example that we have seen on here before:

The only people that care about you having tattoos are people that don't have them. They tell you it is bad, and it is wrong to do it. The people that have tattoos don't care if you have no tattoos.

Steph, you sound like a very wonderful, supportive sister! 'Coming out' to family and friends about our beliefs is one of the hardest parts of this journey, because the reaction is usually so negative..it says a lot that you are willing to come here and 'check us out.' What a blessing you are to Paul and DeeAnn! Welcome!
