Hi Scott
My family will pray for you and your wife, that you marriage will be all that God longs for it to be, that you are a blessing to your wife and that she is a blessing to you.
I agree with everything Lisa has said and know that this trial will be to God's glory, if sought through with Him, in His word, together. It is good for each of us men to remember the passge "if you have been faithful in the little things I will grant you bigger things". At the core of spiritual leadership is a man "washing his wife in the word of God". Why? That she may considered holy and blameless. This is the picture of Christ with His bride (the church). As we examine those in the church they may seem to be anything but without spot or wrinkle (Eph. 5:27), but in Jesus eyes they (we) are.
Trust His word, but offer it lovingly, in the sense of bathing not drowning. Through the course of this see her as Christ sees you (us). Love unconditionally, and "stand and see what the Lord will do".
Again, welcome and you are in our prayers.
