I kind of said hello from the information thread but here is an intro.
As the handle implies my name is Jim and my wife is Mary. We have a small ranch/homestead 50 miles NE of Dallas, TX. I am an IT Administrator and Mary is a corporate exec. We raise grass fed beef, non-GMO chickens and eggs, goats and small garden. Soon we will be rebuilding our aquaponic greenhouse and producing fish and veggies again. We have been married 17 years and are young in our 50s with three adult kids and 8 1/2 grandchildren spread out on the east and west coasts.
We believe Yeshua(Jesus) to be the only begotten Son of the G-d of Abraham, Issac and Jacob, and the redeemer of all mankind. We are sabbath keepers and follow the teachings(Laws) of the entire Bible as best we can. Our home church has three families that are open to or seeking PM.
We have been studying PM for a while now and are looking for tons of information before we jump into the deep end. We found we were tied to a monogamous life by our first marriage covenant so we recently remarried under a new covenant between ourselves and Yahweh that does not limit me from adding to my family with the full support of Mary. We are both very thankful that we have discovered this forum and look forward to learning and meeting with you all.

(disclaimer: I am not here to argue doctrine, I have flaws, and am always learning more from scripture so hate to eat my words and want to love everyone, not argue with them.)

Thanks Jim for sharing!

Would you mine sharing about the dynamic in your house church? How you all came to accept PM? How you all handle theological differences? etc.

I am very curious. First, since it is unheard of for a whole church to be accepting of PM. And second, because I've long been interested in home church but the few around did not seem to take theology very seriously.

First off we are a small group of around 30 total including kids that meets in one of three houses every Sabbath for a meal and 3-5 hour study. We keep the feasts of Bible and all of the Holy days.
PM was first suggested by one man in our group, he is the patriarch of about 1/2 of our church group. That was about a year and a half ago. When ever I am presented with a controversial subject I will research it out. My wife and I found that it is backed up by scripture and started talking about whether or not it could be for us. We agreed that it was something we could be interested in and started praying about it. The more we prayed and studied and whatif'ed the idea the closer we came to G-d and the closer we are getting to each other. If Mary was not 100% on board I would not consider it if only to maintain peace in my home.

Shalom and welcome!! Great to have you on board and looking forward to hearing more about your fellowship and how you came into this journey together.

Jim, its great to have you guys here. As someone thats not too far north of you,(about 3 hrs) welcome and I hope that we get to meet IRL soon. OK doesnt have a ton of plural accepting families that I’ve met yet but there are several that get together on occasion as time permits.

Welcome to the group, your story is inspiring!
