Hi, I'm Vanessa. New around here, so not sure this is the place to introduce myself.

I'm not new to poly, been interested in it for a while. Been researching and activaly looking for a family for about three years maybe a little more.. lost count. I've made some wonderful friends along the way, some that I'm happy to see are part of this board as well. I've had a relationship with a family for almost two years, but needed to end it. I've recently started looking for a family again and have been blessed to have found the great family I've been talking to. They are very down to earth and I'm excited about how things are progressing. And we are all on the page that if it doesn't work out, we definately will be great friends, because we are so much alike. But I'm keeping my fingers crossed! ;) I like what plural marriage families bring to the table. I like the idea that not only are you loved by your husband, there's at least one someone else there, that loves him as much as you do, but she loves you too. And on those days when hubby is driving you absolutely bananas and you just want to bash him over the head with a frying pan, there's someone there to stop you.. :D lol.. I know my children will have a more fruitful life with the influence and perpective of another woman around and possibly new sibblings.
I'm excited to be here, hopefully will make new friends on here as well!

You know, this is how Ive decided that I need to look at things. I was asked by someone that I am completely falling head over heals for ( ;) you know who you are) to consider polygamy. Its been tough, but I continue to pray that God puts me on the right path. It seems like its taking forever.. but when I really think about it.. a few months ago I was completely oblivious to most things in here... in fact, I dont think I was nearly as close to God as I thought I was. Anyway... I have issues, mostly jealousy, to get over. But, if you think about how much you love someone, why wouldnt there be someone else out there that can love them as much as you do?.. and why cant she be your best friend?

Welcome! This place has been great for me. I'm sure you'll find it a great place to learn and grow also.
Hubby and I have a second wife in mind for him. SHe was here with us for a while, but had some issues to work out and has left us temporarily. We have faith that she'll come back to us when she's ready.

Nice to have ya here Jr and Christy! I'm assuming that this particular post on our ladies forum is from you - Christy - right? Well welcome, welcome & welcome again! We have a great group of lovely - Godly women here with a heart for the Lord, and a heart of compassion and shared wisdom for all. We are currently doing a ladies book study on Monday evenings@7:30pm through "Paltalk," which is through our private ladies forum here. The book is a study on Godly balanced Submission of Christian wives. It's called: " Me? Obey Him?" Not sure if you know of this particular book or not, however it was originally written in the 70's and then revised in the early 90's. Seems to be a good Godly balanced book with shared nuggets of wisdom and advice for Christian wives. If you're interested please feel welcomed to join in! :D Check for details with Heather, Julieb or Sweetlissa, as I believe that they can help ya with the study if you're interested. It is so nice to see more women on Biblical Families! It is very encouraging to me! And for those of you out there that are nervous about posting as I was at first....well, it gets easier, thanks to all the women who consistently post/reply and are very open!
As a matter of fact, I think I will ask hubby to post an intro with me right now!
