I have been working on a project for several months now that I would like to share with everyone here. It is a wiki-based site designed to help serious students of polygyny walk through what the Bible says about it. It is far from done, and I would greatly appreciate any and all feedback on the site as it moves forward. The address is: http://biblicalpolygyny.com/wiki or you can just go to http://biblicalpolygyny.com.

The vision of the site is to create a resource that will help those who have recently become aware that polygyny is acceptable in the eyes of our Lord study out the topic with solid, Biblical-based evidence compiled in an easy to follow format that will answer most all their questions. Ultimately I would love to add some trusted contributors to help flesh this out fully, though must preface this by saying I will be carefully vetting each one to help ensure the long-term vision of the site isn't derailed or sabotaged, and to protect the purpose of the site: being a trusted resource.

Again, please give me feedback. This is the best site I have come across with multiple well-informed participants; therefore, it is the best place to begin sharing this work.

Great site, sir. A wiki is probably what we need, where everyone can contribute.

There's a community portal. I won't be able to participate actively even if I would love to because of time constraints. BF is the only online forum I check due to offline responsibilities. No Facebook even or any social network. It's not that this pesky pebble is critical to the functioning of a community in your wiki but, perhaps, the community portal can led to FB. We are already a community here and that wiki can be fleshed out by resident "warriors."

I also hope for active participation from the ladies... YOU are vital, crucial, pivotal, etc.

BTW, if the BF warriors is a basketball team, I'd be glad to serve as the waterboy. :D

Pebble, I think your idea about the Community Portal is outstanding. I had not given that even the slightest thought yet, as I have been busy fleshing out the text on the site, but I sure see no need to replace the community that is here at Biblical Families. I'll dive into that page on the site later today and get a link pointed to Biblical Families.
