Hello all,

My wife and I consider ourselves solid Christians. We do not belong to any denomination, but live by the Bible alone. I am a fairly successful white collar manager in a multi-national company. Leslie is a home-maker (I tell everyone that I "retired her"), after spending most of her life in business. We are grateful to God for all that we have.

We have tried twice before to make this work, but the women we let into our life let us down. One by trying to steal me away (never, ever happening), and the other because of issues caused by an abusive former life (I'll just say she was "not stable" and leave it at that). So now Leslie is a little gun-shy (to put it mildly!), but I feel that this was a calling we were led to some years ago.

We just haven't found the right person... yet.


Maybe finding this site is a sign of good things to come?

Welcome Jeff and Leslie! So glad you found us, I hope we can be of some support for you whatever comes next. I am sorry to hear about your previous experiences, unfortunately some ladies motives are not righteous. I am glad you are still open to see what God has for you.

I hope Leslie will sign up for her own membership so she can post on the Women's Only section and so we ladies can get to know her. We do have a Tuesday night chat for just the ladies if that interests her. It is from 7:30 - 9:00 EST. The link to the chat room is at the top of the Forum Index page. Glad you all are here. Jennifer and I are still in the find a friend stage. We hope that will turn into a best friend and then we'll see if the lord will move us all to the next stage. But I will be glad to walk along side of you on this journey. We maybe can bounce our mistakes and achievements off each other

I think that goes both ways. Most people here haven't got as far as you have. We all are interested in your advice.
