Permission to Speak - Covenant Head gives Green Light

Hi.

In light of a recent posting, just in case ylopsonlywife decides to make a third post, I give permission as her covenant head to speak freely on any topic she chooses.

Perhaps we could have a whole email approval section where covenant heads give the green light prior to posts being made by covenant headlets :lol:

That was awesome! Anyway, I want to say I kind of understand Dr. Allen's concerns-it is important for a wife to learn from her husband(Though each husband has a different way of teaching). What bugs me is that he would assume perhaps because my opinoin is so unpopular among American chrsitians that I may be ignoring my husband's teaching on it somehow. The implied assumption is what I took issue with not his concern.

If it were a less divisive issue, perhaps some more nuanced issue about an obscure biblical concept, then his involvement would not have been questioned. Or maybe I was sounding very forceful and authoritative on the issue. I DO NOT want to sound like that! I was really trying to present other resources of info and what I had gleaned form them in order that others might be able to be exposed to the minority political opinion. I do not wish to be the final authority on anything really. I am not smart enough frankly! I just really disagree at this time.

In the light of a recent post by FollowingHim2, I hereby as her covenant head give her likewise permission to speak on any topic she chooses, provided she also carefully follows Doc's excellent instructions for wives presented earlier in this thread. :D
 
Well thank you very much dear! I tell you what, when there comes a day that I'm not pregnant and/or breastfeeding I will follow those instructions to the letter and endeavor to be a perfect wife ;) :D
