After watching Substitute Wife, (great movie by the way!) I started looking for other movies that are about plural. I found this trailer but have yet to watch the whole movie yet. Enemies, A Love Story.

We watched the Substitute Wife last night and that was a really good movie. It showed the hardship a monogamy based relationship can generate when God is is trying to provide a solution through polygamy. Look forward to watching the Enemies movie.
 
I just read the movie description for both of these movies and both just sound to me like it is people having affairs not living in a polygynious marriage.

My favorite book is The Red Tent a few years ago the movie came out. It seems very real in many ways what a family with multiple wives goes through.

 
I watch Substitue Wife the other day. Loved it. Laughed really hard a few times. Gonna watch with the mrs this weekend.
 
 
Mrs. And I absolutely loved Substitute Wife. It seemed to capture the movement and poly sentiments very nicely. Must see for everyone.
 
We are a year late to the party, but we liked the substitute wife.
Hubby would have liked it better if the man got to keep both longer term.

We both laughed a lot!
Gotta admire a practical gal who is willing to look at solutions before the problem is upon them.

Redemption and blessing for the "other woman"....who was a blessing to the family. Great show!
 
Just got done watching Substitute Wife, it was a pretty good movie. GLORY! Good!! :D:p:) We laughed a few times also.
