Positive Article on Legalizing Polygamy

My favourite quote from the article is "We have a tendency to dismiss or marginalize people we don’t understand.".

It is a really good article, I am glad the writer brought up the choices women make and how disparaging it is for people to assume that 'All Polygamous women are....' even in the light of counter arguments by Polygamous women.

I saw this today, linked by Voddie Baucham, I presume to see how slippery a slope it is to allow homosexual marriage that the logical consequence would be legalizing polygamy. I still vote for the government to get out of marriage regulation entirely. No special benefits or consequences due to marriage or singleness really make sense anyway. So long as folks write up a will to distribute their assets to those they wish, what is the real issue with abolishing all marriage law?
