I have friend who is on the cusp of divorce. Not a worldy person but not particularly Godly either. After he shared his experience with me it was clear that the issues like many other couples stem from both not following God and the couple not being in their proper roles. Lots of manipulation and heartache, and for a man he has held his fidelity despite really bad circumstances, so he has integrity. Some things are just too much to ask a person to go against their nature. Anyway. I hate divorce, been there before, I just shared that nowadays the only thing that keeps me and my wifes marriage strong is God. Because I know its not me! So pray for him, and for the children involved. It could be salvaged, by miraculous means, but what is our God if not a God of miracles.
