Prayer for my mother

My mother revealed to me the other day that she has colon cancer. She is having surgery for it next week. Her life is not threatened, they caught it very early.

However, you all know that I am many miles from her and my heart aches to be with her. She doesn't want or need me at her side. She is also not saved, as far as I know.

Please pray for her physical recover but also for her spiritual health.

My heart, thoughts & prayers go out to you and your family! A hard position to be in to say the least, but God see's our tears and offers His Love, Comfort and Support during the seasons that our heart's cry out. I will lift you and your mother in prayer, for Yeshua's will to be done in all of your lives. I'll pray for healing and restoration in both the physical and spiritual/emotional areas of her life, that she's able to sence Yeshua's Peace & Presence in her life like never before!

Thank you all for your prayers. My mother is out of surgery and it seems that the cancer had not spread. There will be tests of course but everything looks okay.

Thanks for the update Sweetlissa, as we'll continue to keep you all lifted in prayer! We've had trials with cancer on both sides of our family in the past, and can relate to your struggles in this area. Hang in there, and Keep on Keepin on with God, family & friends.

I talked to my dad last night and he says that everything is going just fine. Of course mom is tired and sore, but only time will fix that. When she is able to eat and they determine that her digestive system is intact they will let her go home. Meanwhile we wait for biopsy results. I did some research and found that if it truly was caught in the 0 or 1 stage, her prognosis is excellent. What they are discribing to me sounds like it was in 0 stage. I am so blessed. Thank you all for the prayers.
