Prayer for us & him

Beta

Sadan's dad just made us both crazy today... all because of my signature line that quotes Isaiah. Sadan handled the situation wisely I think, but we need prayer that his dad will listen for once and that the Lord will work in his heart. I'm trying to throw it off but having a little trouble doing it. Pray for Joe / Joshai.

Dear Beta and Sadan:

You got our prayers. Most definitely! Been there. Different details, but that doesn't matter.

Remember, Family-who-we've-just-met, it didn't go direct from Jo to either of you. It had to get through the Father and Jesus first. You are PROTECTED !!! So let is sliiiiiiiide ... Just bring on the popcorn, kick back emotionally, and wait to see how this particular episode turns out.

Thats very tough, no doubt he did handle the situation with wisdom.

Bless you, I hope this turns out.

Beta & Sadan,

I'm adding you guys and Joe to my night time prayers right after I sign off. I'll pray that the Holy Spirit touch your husband's heart.

In Christian Love,
Michelle

Michelle, friends,

Requesting personal prayer again. I'm desperately tired of fighting the same battle for the past 27 years...

Sorry, Michelle, I forgot (there's that mind problem) that I requested prayer regarding my sons' dad here before...that's what you were referring too. Appreciate your prayers much.

Beta, dear,

It is the sworn duty of the Anti-christ, (not just the dude, but the spirit behind the dude,) to "wear out the saints of the most high," and that is exactly what we DON'T want to see happen to such a precious warrior as are you. I know that for me when I am dealing with long, drawn out, seemingly intractable situations or folks, what has helped has been to focus on how the situation makes our Beloved feel, rather than my own weariness. Somehow being able to switch from the effect it has on me to the effect it has on Him brings strength, and yes, oftentimes, zany humour.

Please feel free to lean on your battle buddies, and may the Shalom of the One true El of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob keep your heart and mind through all this mess.

Blessings,
ali

Couldn't have said either one of the two previous better, Beta. You and your family ARE thought of and held up in prayer by us. And even the "fly away" idea is Biblical: "Come ye apart and rest awhile", even if only inside your mind.

Thank you so much ALL...

I do feel better, but I keep going through this every little bit. It's just getting harder, the marathon is worse the longer you go at it you know. Funny, coming here was the "getting away" to a desert place, and technically it is that for me. But you're right, I need to get away mentally too sometimes.

Thanks

Beta

Beta,

Yep, this is the posts I was referring to. I have that "mind problem" too. I sent you another response in the womens' only forum. I'll continue to pray for peace for you and your family.
