I posted my story in another thread. The pain of being separated and "friend-zoned" with my former fiancee is unbelievable.
I have some aspects of a game plan with life going forward, though. I'm pushing and persisting in giving God the glory. I am so thankful that He works out everything for the good of those who love Him. He is SO worthy of praise!!!! Even now I am zealous to give Him absolutely all the glory. And He is merciful -- as I have needed a great deal of mercy. I'm greatly excited to see what is ahead. He loves her too, and He is ultimately the sole provider and savior of both of us.
It definitely just plain hurts. I live alone at age 38, never married. "The joy of the Lord is my strength." He is here. My prayer is for continued strength as I go forward in hope and love.
