Hi guys, I'm not new here. I've been around for few years under the name zephyr. In light of recent American events though I felt like it was time for me to "come out of the closet." After all, it seems to be the thing to do these days.
So here are the pertinent details. My name is Zec Austin. I am married and live in Toccoa, GA. Toccoa is a beautiful little town in NE Ga. We used to be something of a hotbed for Biblical Families with several very active members (not me) living locally. We even hosted a retreat once that was amazing. Unfortunately the other members have moved on and don't seem to be around anymore.
My wife accepts that plural marriage is biblically sound but has not come to the point that she can embrace it in our marriage. She does read the message boards though.
We have a total of 12 children. I have five from a previous marriage and 1 from an old girlfriend. My wife brought 3 children to the marriage and we are expecting our third together. I am sure you can imagine that there is some drama and missteps in both our backgrounds but we have it back on track now.
I believe that the principle of Patriarchy is what is missing in the American church and our stiff necked insistence on editing God's Word for Him has brought the American church to the brink of a harsh judgement. After all, how could God judge the nation if He lets His church get away with flagrant disrespect.
And that is why I have decided to reintroduce myself to the group. I have been living in the shadows because I was afraid to jeopardize our various custody arrangements, embarrass my parents or cause waves in the congregation we attend.
The problem is that God is looking for some watchmen on the tower. The warning cry shouldn't be all about polygyny, but we should be crying out a warning about the satanic attack of feminism that has weakened our culture to the point of collapse. I doubt the collapse can be stopped now and like I said I believe the church is first up for judgement, but we have to at least articulate an alternative.
So call this my "Caitlin" moment. I am done, with God's help, living a lie. It's nice to meet you all.
