shaving......or not

umm my two cents...some men think it is best that they not shave to maintain the original appearance God gave them, but how would these same men feel if their wives stopped shaving to maintain their "original" appearance? Hairy legs, armpits, mustache and all! Frankly I think it is a matter of personal preference and no one way is wrong, right, or more Godly. I am with Cecil...God loves creativity and diversity.

dtt, you seem to be trying to make a point of some sort. :D

how do you square your view with a nazarite vow?
according to how you view that verse it would seem that a nazarite vow would be a disgrace. :o

As would all of our military, and particularly our Marines, with their "high and tight" haircuts.

has anyone done a study on shaving, having a beard? the spiritual implications?
i am putting this in "off topic" just to be safe

Ok, I haven't read through the previous pages, since I don't have that much time :P.

My take on shaving, there's nothing wrong with it. It's mentioned as a ceremonial law for the Hebrews, that they are not to trim their beard, but never mentioned again afterwards.
