Any other southern states get snow? We haven't seen snow in our area for nearly 7 years (southern Louisiana and southern Mississippi). I know you northerners are going to laugh, but to us this is a lot of snow

How is snow clearing from roads going since your state usually doesn't have snow?

By the way, you can use kitchen salt to stop ice forming.

We don't go on the roads during snow here; they just close everything. The stores, the schools, businesses, etc., all closed for the day and possibly tomorrow. Southerners can barely drive in the rain; they don't trust us with snow. Here's a picture of the road in front of our house, behind my dog.

Southern cities don't have ANY snow equipment. The "plan" is to let it melt off. It doesn't snow every year or even every 5-10 years in many cases.

Yup, the last time we got snow was 2018, and it melted before noon, and maybe 10 years prior to that? I've only seen snow maybe 4 times in my life.

NO snow for us...at least not yet. It is pretty strange to see snow in Florida. I have only seen it twice in my life as a born and raised Floridian. It is cold wind and rain right now. Brrrr
