Hi there, I am Tess and I have been married to a wonderful man for 16 years. We live in Northern Texas and have three little boys ages 8, 6 and 19 months. We are believers in the Word with a strong Messianic bent. We have spoken about the benefits and drawbacks to plural marriage for a few years now (thanks to certain television shows). It was really a nebulous concept until a few months ago when I made an off hand comment about my best friend becoming the second wife if that's what it took to get her to move closer. Well that started everyone's wheels turning, the scriptures flew open and much studying was done. He spoke to her to see if she was open to the idea and they came to me and asked, "So, were you serious?" My answer was vigorously affirmative and here we are. There is no handbook for this situation so I have been pouring over this site for the last few weeks. I have discovered two things 1) the openness and honesty of the people on this site is amazing and very helpful 2) there REALLY needs to be a "like" button! I look forward to continuing to gather information from y'all and maybe forming some really great friendships!

My name is (actually) Matthew, and I am a Torah Observant Messianic Jew... yeah, that strong Messianic bent just took over a few years back! I am in Arizona. It is a pleasure to greet you! You'll find that there is a lot of people who can share good Scriptural advice and insights from personal experience.

We are a family that used to describe ourselves as Messianic, now we tend to identify ourselves as Biblical (Genesis to Revelation) due to the many splinters of Messianic Judaism and traditions we would rather not identify ourselves with, lol. Welcome, welcome. I am the wife in the family, and I also was the one inspired to add another to our family, inspired by YHUH during prayer and bible study. Looking forward to getting to know you and your family. Oh, I forgot about the ladies chat again today! Golly Gee!

I hope you will find some good friendships and lots of encouraging posts here. And yes, we definitely need a "like" button. We are slowly working on revamping the site. Hope to make it more workable and friendly soon.
