Hi, just thought I would start a post about suggestions to the site
Suggestions:
1)have a post or special folder for certain topics such as helpful polygamy opinions, that would be helpful for other viewers
2)past post about important topics to men and women, leadership, respect, submission, obedience
You all just dont know how important some of the post have been to me, and probably others, but they are difficult to find, I have to put it in search box, it would be nice to have certain topics, so we could find them easier.

If suggestions are open for us to discuss others can post here as well, I just started some, so let us know

That is/was the purpose and intent of the FAQ section. And suggestions are definitely welcome! You'll notice that some of the FAQ articles are kinda short, with either a longer version following, or links to certain past threads, or both.

Feel free to make specific suggestions, either in this thread or via writing to suggestions@biblicalfamilies.org. In fact, if you care to offer a suggestion for the content of the "Short version" article, and maybe point to a specific post for a/the longer version (for those who want a more in-depth discussion), go ahead.

We would like to be doing the job ourselves. And we talk about it at every retreat. But we're all volunteers with lots on our plates, so we're not keeping pace.

Anyway, specific suggestions/articles tend to get discussed and perhaps modified by staff before posting, so don't be surprised or offended. But we definitely would welcome the help.

And if the other moderators disagree, I hereby give them permission to modify this post!

Here is a suggestion. Can you all start a live chat on this site, so people can ask questions who may be new, or just for fellowship purposes. You know like branch it off a little, and make it live, have you all ever considered that?

Whenever people are online they can chat with one another.

Am I the only one who is interested in that.

Well, let me jump in here. Yes, we have made several attempts at live interaction, with varying degrees of success. As CW says, it is not for lack of desire or even ability, but a matter of TIME. Frankly, we could use more volunteers. Between managing the sackful of bobcats we occasionally encounter on our various sites and connectors, to our personal lives having its own complications because of our jobs, families, wives (plural), health and more, it can be a bit much.

We would love to offer this opportunity. Who would like to step up and take the lead on this?

I agree with Doc. But note too that the chat room that is used for ladies chat is always open. If you want to discuss something at any other time, feel free to ask if anyone wants to talk then.
