We live almost an hour north of Houston and we are in this tropical storm. We have been without power since 1:00 am and now I am really scared because the water is up to the back of our house. Please pray for my family and I.

Thank you all for your prayers. The water has receded from the back of our home. It is not a hard consistent rain anymore even though it is still raining. Our good neighbors had about 10 inches flooding within their home. 
We are trying to be supportive and help them as much as we can. They are about to sell their home and this is a major setback if they have to replace and fix things. On a fun note, it has been like a river so we have had a good laugh watching things float by. We have seen coolers, tires, paint cans, and other things.

Praise God, that the He controls the storms and it was not allowed to flood your house. He has his hand upon your household that you Lord for your Protection upon this family Amen.
Amen! Yes He is in control and I defiantly gave thanks to Him when the flooding receded from our home.
