The "Crossroads" restaurant, in the "Trucker Friendly" parking lot in the rear, because I have a flat on the trailer. I'm waiting for Road Service at Exit 44 on I-55, Mt Olive, Illinois. My plan was to make it to Hayti Missouri tonight, but I may spend too long here, to make it there. My trucker 14 hour clock is going to start running out soon. We can drive 11 hours in a day, but once we go on duty or start driving, we have to be done with all driving 14 hours later. I've probably spent at least two of my three hours already, so by the time this repair is done, I'm not thinking I'm going to make it to Hayti.
The tire looks like someone rolled up beside me and unloaded a shotgun into it. There is at least one hole bigger than my fist in the sidewall. There's another smaller hole on the other side. You always wonder what causes symptoms like that.
