Oh yeah, I’m many of the comic he’s the classic white knight simp, completely insulted to be a role model. In a way, though, isn't Archie 'Beta Male Propaganda?'

With the right timing, he could have married Tara too (although I don't remember what the interaction between the two was like)Sort of on-topic... I used to watch Buffy the Vampire Slayer and I always wondered why Xander didn't marry Buffy and Willow.
It would have made a ton of sense for everyone involved.
I’ve never seen Buffy. Is it worth it?Sort of on-topic... I used to watch Buffy the Vampire Slayer and I always wondered why Xander didn't marry Buffy and Willow.

You'll laugh and (pretend not to) cry.I’ve never seen Buffy. Is it worth it?
My standard is that evil has to loses. As long as the evil isn’t glorified I can usually find value in a story. I’m sometimes a little embarrassed at the things I like, a little bit like Archie comics’Overall, yes it is. It is not for children (something my parents should have known) but the underlying themes of self-sacrifice, friendship, duty, obligation, and the propensity of the characters to be flawed while ultimately doing the right thing make it a remarkable program.
One character, Willow, goes from being a cute nerdy girl into being the most powerful witch in existence. She also suffers for having used dark magic and the show gets deep into her recovery. "It always comes with a price" someone in the show said. Darkness and evil come with a price and the show never deviates from that truth.
While some people will only see the monsters and witchcraft I am not the only one to see stories of redemption in all of it. Even the vampires can strive to be better despite being hopelessly condemned they try anyway.
And the show never glorifies the monsters. It's always clear about what they are. Unlike society that tries to tell us that 'drag queen story time' is harmless.
I've rewatched it a few times over the years and I've watched it with the older kids.

And it looks like the combination of Betty's attention and getting blown (by the wind, of course) has put a rocket in Archie's pocket . . .This one is for @Keith Martin , not necessarily poly but very much a theme he approves of.

Maybe this one is the best one yet!
